Hebrews 11:1
Did you know that soil is alive? We learned the difference between soil and dirt--soil is filled with millions of living organisms! On April 10th, our students traveled to a very special Smithsonian exhibit called "Dig It! Secrets of Soil" at the MAC in Spokane! Students learned all about the crucial part soil plays in the earth's ecosystem, and how important it is to protect. Our next step will be building worm bins. Look for more information on this project to come. Thanks to Target Corporation for the grant that allows us to pursue these fun educational opportunities!
