Lighthouse has some exciting news for fall 2013!

Last fall, our administration began communication with Christian Center School, a ministry very similar to ours, that has provided our community with high quality Christian education since 1979.  It has been encouraging to see how God has knit our hearts over the ensuing months. As we continued to meet and discuss how we might help each other and further our common mission, our school boards began considering joining the two schools.

Now it's official! LCA and CCS will merge our schools for the 2012-13 school year. Our staff members are in the process of combining curriculum to reflect the character of the merged schools, taking the strengths of both to form a stronger whole. The Lighthouse building at 720 E. Poplar will be closed at the end of July, and all operations will be transferred to the new location at Christian Center School, at 3639 W. Prairie Avenue in Hayden.
